The vessel is powered by twin 420hp Cat diesels.

 

She sails from ports in Maine to the Canyons of Cape Cod.

A Fishermen's Dream 

The”Reel” Fish Tales has onboard the newest Furuno 270 Searchlight Sonar.

Captain Richard  Milligan is proud to say he has installed the ultimate of fish finding technology on

today’s market.

This sonar has the capability of searching for fish with-in a 1 mile radius .

 

If there’s fish here we’ll find them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All other electronics are Furuno's Nav Net System with two stations for chart plotters, radar, fish finder intergrated with a Simrad AP26 auto pilot, Icom SSB radio, Uniden digital vhf and cell phone.

 

The "Reel" Fish Tales meets or exceeds the safety code required by the US Coast Guard. These include, but are not limited to: 406B Emergency Position Radio Beacon, Life Jackets for all, a Solas offshore life raft, throwable life ring buoy and fire extinguishers in every compartment, Flares,  and First aid kits.
